Court II Tribune Board of Directors Corner The Annual Meeting held on May 11th elected two (2) Board Members. Congratulations to, the newly elected Board Members. During the Organizational Meeting held after the Annual Meeting, the new Board appointed the offices. The following is the list of the Board Members and their respective offices. Congratulations to the new Board of Directors and a special Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to Hampton Court II Condo and Spring Ridge in general. Common Occurrence - Big Problem! It has been brought to the attention of Management that some residents are allowing people into the building even if they don’t know who they are. If residents receive a call from the front door, they will indescriminanently just push 9 and buzz them in...not even knowing who they are or worse, what their intentions are. The security lock on the front door is designed to provide control on who enters the building and who doesn’t. It is a common practice of criminals to stand at a front door and try every button to every unit, until someone just buzzes them in. Please only allow your guests and relatives to gain access to the building. Please report any malfunctioning entry door to management. Thank you. Outside Water Faucets Be advised that the use of outside water faucets is not authorized for personal homeowner use. Homeowners wishing to water patio plants and flowers, or to provide child’s play, must use their own metered water. The water from these outside faucets is charged to all homeowners; thus, is intended for the overall community use such as landscape watering (new shrubs and trees) or power washing of the building. Unauthorized use of outside faucets will result in a Board follow-up. Dryer Vents And Fireplace Flue Caps At this time, we would like to remind the condo owners that periodically cleaning dryer vents and fireplace flue caps is essential. Lint buildup and bird nests are the 2 most common problems found in these areas. Proper maintenance is the responsibility of each owner. This is not an association responsibility but rather the responsibility of each owner. You may contact the vendors listed below to schedule your vent cleaning. T&D Duct Cleaning LLC Dryer Vent Cleaners Management is not endorsing these vendors. We know they have worked in the community and residents have been happy with their work. Power Outages - Things to know The common hall emergency lights, by design, will only stay on for 90 minutes. In a power outage, have a phone available that isn’t dependent upon electricity, ie. cell phone or standard telephone handset. The elevators, by design, will not work if the electricity is out. Always keep a working flashlight in your unit. Never use candles, they propose a higher fire risk. Turn off electrical equipment you were using when the power went out. Avoid opening the refrigerator and freezer Keep extra batteries on hand. Keep a battery powered radio on hand. Leave one light on so you know when the power returns.
