Board of Directors Creates
New Collection Policy

The Board of Directors have made a new resolution for the assessment collection for the condo association.  The new policy will be effective June 1, 2005. A ‘zero tolerance’ approach will be taken to members who are paying their dues late.
A copy of the new policy will be distributed to each unit soon.

Reminder To Residents

If you are having any work done in your unit by a contractor, please remember that the contractor should use the electricity and water supply from your unit only.  Common area electricity and water are to be used for common area purposes only.  Thank you.

Pool Passes

As you will recall, 3 year’s ago Spring Ridge went to a PERMANENT pool pass system.  Everyone must have a pass to enter the pool. Lost or misplaced permanent passes will be replaced at a charge of $5 per pass. Guests can enter with a resident and a guest pass.  All owners or tenants received one guest pass with ten free visits.  Additional guest passes may be purchased from PMP for $20/ 10 visits or $40/ 20 visits.  Residents will not be reimbursed for lost or stolen guest passes. See you at the pool.

Important Warning:

It is very important that you and/or your guests extinguish all lighted cigars and cigarettes properly. Please do not throw anything lighted into the mulch beds. The mulch can catch on fire and then possibly the building and then your home.

Be smart and don’t throw lighted cigarettes/cigars on the common areas, especially the mulched beds.

No Bulk Trash/No Recycling

There is no bulk trash pickup or recycling at any of the condo’s within Spring Ridge. Please don’t leave these items out near the trash containers. Thank you.
Happy Memorial Day!

The Visitor Center will be closed on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.  PMP, Inc. and your Board of Directors wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Out-going Mail

It has been brought to the attention of management that a few residents have had their out-going mail stolen. A suspect has been questioned by the Sheriff. Please keep your eyes and ears opened and report any suspicious activity to the Sheriff. The non-emergency number is 301-694-1046 and the emergency number is 911.

Remember you can place your out-going mail in the mailboxes next door at Spring Ridge Condo’s. The cluster mailboxes have a protected out-going mail slot in them.

Air Conditioner and Heater Tips

Air Conditioners and Heaters require regular maintenance for the unit to function effectively during service.  Neglecting necessary maintenance ensures a steady decline in air conditioning /heating performance while energy use steadily increases.

Filters - Routinely clean and/or replace if needed.  Clogged, dirty filters block normal air flow and reduce a system’s efficiency significantly.  It is recommended that you change your air filter once a month during summer and every other month during the winter.

Condensation Line - A frequent problem is a clogged condensation line in your air conditioner.  Often, mold or bacteria can grow and clog the line.  To keep the air conditioning line flowing freely, pour a mixture of 1 part household bleach and 9 parts water through the line once a month during summer.  The condensation line is found on the inside part of your air conditioning unit.
