It was a great day and for our first sprint triathlon it went really well.  This was a mini-distance triathlon for ages 10 to 100; participants swam 250 years, biked 4.5 miles and then ran 1.5 miles, all within our neighborhood.  Tri It Now organized the run and the event was sanctioned by USA Triathlon.  Over 340 athletes signed up from all over the US, even as far away as New York!  We had about 35 participants from Spring Ridge.  This truly was a community event as SR businesses supported the race with door prizes or contributions as well as 96% of the volunteers were homeowners within Spring Ridge.  What an awesome event!
