SEASON As homeowners at Spring Ridge we encourage all of you to keep an eye out for hunters. All hunters must stay at least 150 yards from any occupied structure (home). If a hunter is seen on or near the perimeters of Spring Ridge please notify the County Sheriff's Dept. Their phone number is 301-694-1046. A special thanks goes out to the homeowners that have been on the look out for hunters. Your diligence is most appreciated. Thank you. FLAG ETIQUETTE
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HERE COMES SUZY
SNOWFLAKE Town Homes: 2002 Board approved snow removal guidelines! In an ice storm if accumulation is under 2" the contractor is to apply chemicals to the sidewalks and building entrances. If total snow and ice accumulation is 2-4", the contractor is to begin plowing only after 2" has actually accumulated on the roadways. Chemical application will begin with the parking areas and private roads, followed by common sidewalks and entrances. One or two parking spots in the overflow lots should be used for snow piles. CONTRACTORS ARE NOT TO CLEAR OUT INDIVIDUAL PARKING SPOTS FOR RESIDENTS WHO MOVE THEIR VEHICLES FOR SUCH SERVICE. IT IS THE RESIDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY. If spots are empty at the time the plows are there, the Contractor may clear them. If snow accumulation is over 4" the same treatment will be applied as described above, and careful attention will be given to the location of snow piles. Once accumulation reaches 4" or more, walking paths are to be cleared (one snow blower path) near the end of storms only. As always, residents should use caution at all times. The contractor can't be there for every weather event. Please remember to NEVER use rock salt on any sidewalk or concrete surface. Rock salt severely damages concrete. Merry Christmas

DIRECTORY THANK
YOU BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CORNER 2) The Board appreciates those who volunteered for the "infrastructure" committee. In January, we will be contacting you to outline your responsibilities. 3) STM,the landscape contractor, has advised the Board that it is time for a proper pruning of the forsythia and "burning bush" shrubbery along the Parkway and Ridgefield Drive. Just to alert you that although this pruning will look extreme at first, it will result in healthier, rejuvenated plants that will be beautiful. :You'll see the results of this in the spring. 4) At the annual meeting, the Board indicated that it was exploring the possibility of collecting two months of homeowner fees on the transfer/sale of property within Spring Ridge from the buyer. This measure has been approved, but the exact date of implementation has not been determined. *See the tentative language contained in the Board Resolution at the bottom of this page. 5) Best wishes to all this Holiday Season. *SPRING RIDGE CONSERVANCY RESOLUTION TO IMPOSE ADMINISTRATIVE RESALE FEE WHEREAS, Section 5.01 of the Declaration requires the Board of Directors to meet its annual expense of the Conservancy; WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has after careful consideration and the application of reasonable business judgement; NOW, THEREFORE, it is this _____ day of ___________, 2001 1.
