Christmas Tree Removal
(Single Family and Townhomes Only)
Don’t forget about the new and improved Christmas tree removal program for this year! During the month of January 2003 all you have to do is make sure you remove all your lights, tinsel, ornaments and stand from your Christmas tree take it out to the curb side on Tuesday evenings. On each Wednesday during January, the Christmas trees will be picked up at the curbside and taken to the recycling center. Any questions, please call PMP at 301-620-0782.
All Condo’s will have their own designated areas.

Sled Riders and Parents of Sled Riders
This year please watch where you sled ride. In the past kids were riding into other people’s property without permission and even causing property damage. Additionally, about $700 worth of damage was caused to the white pvc fence along Ridgefield Drive. This is an unnecessary expense because it is 100% preventable.

Also, many children were observed sled riding across Spring Ridge Parkway. This is very dangerous. Parents, please make sure you know where your children are sled riding. Watch all roads and driveways, and stay safe but have fun.

Directory Thank You
The directory is complete. Management would like to thank all of those who have volunteered to help in its distribution. The directory will be delivered around the middle of January.

There are presently two vacancies on this committee. If you are interested in serving on this committee please contact Richard Gemmell.

3) A point of clarification, the Architectural Change Committee (ACC) review applications for new construction, fences, sheds etc. It does NOT perform inspections of the property. PMP does the monthly inspections of Spring Ridge.

This committee would work in conjunction with the landscape company in area beautification and plantings as well as long term landscaping development. Naturally, they are always open to new members. Contact management if you have an interest in joining.

FAN Club: Friends and Neighbors joining together to share a variety of interests. Contact Lynn Schumacher for more information at 301-694-0829.

Pool Committee: Meeting the 1st Monday of most months the pool committee works with PMP and the pool management company to ensure a fun filled and safe pool season. If you have suggestions, ideas or are interested in joining this active committee call the Visitor Center or watch the marquee for the next meeting date.

Recreation Committee: Spring Ridge has a very active recreation committee and is always looking for new members and ideas. The committee plans community functions throughout the year for people of all ages. One of their main goals is to continue expanding the various events for all of the different age groups living in Spring Ridge. Bring the community together by sharing common interests at various activities. Meetings are typically held the second (2nd) Monday of the month.

Swim Team: Known as the Spring Ridge Sharks, our swim team consists of 95% of Spring Ridge children. The main goal is to work with the children in the community to develop swimming skills, team spirit and to teach the concept of team work. Spring Ridge community typically hosts two swim meets a season and the Divisionals. The swim team hosts several events throughout the season as a way of raising funds to support the kids.
