Condo Connection
Board of Director’s Corner Annual Meeting The Spring Ridge Condo 2006 Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 20th. A “Call for Nomination” letter was mailed out to residents on February 17, 2006. Please get involved in your community by serving on the Board of Directors. There are two (2) positions open this year. Get involved! Thank you. For New & Current Owners and Residents A few friendly reminders to all owners and residents: Please be aware that sounds you make in your condo may be heard by others. Please be considerate of your neighbors when playing your stereo, surround sound systems and other electronic devices. The sound proofing in the condo’s is not the best, so be considerate when allowing children to play in your condo. Please pick up after your pets. This is a common sense item plus it’s a rule of the community and a law with the county. Owners of larger vehicles such as SUV’s and larger pick up trucks, please park on the opposite side of the parking lots, away from the fronts of the buildings. The larger vehicles tend to block part of the sidewalk which can cause a block in the public right of way for other residents. Park all vehicles between the lines on the parking lot. Not parking squarely between the lines tends to through off all of the parking spots. MANAGEMENT SQUARE Residents of 6501,6505,6513, 6343 and 6344 In January residents of these buildings were mailed a PUBLIC NOTICE letter from the Frederick County Division of Planning and Zoning. The letter advises each owner that the Flood Insurance Rate Maps have been updated. Unfortunately, these buildings are now within the 100 year flood-plain zone, or at least are proposed to be. The Frederick County Board of County Commissioners have not approved the revised maps yet, but will do so some time this year. If approved this may impact your personal insurance rate. Please contact the FEMA MAP Assistance Center at the toll free number (1-877-336-2627) should you have any questions. Management is attempting to find out when the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners will be discussing this issue. We will try to communicate the dates to the residents of the buildings once we find out. The Board of Directors encourages owners in these buildings to write to the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners to express your concern about the revised floodplain map. The mailing address for the Commissioners is as follows: Frederick County Board of County Commissioners You can also email the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners.
