Community Fall Yard Sale

Spring Ridge Condo will be participating in the Spring Ridge Community Fall Yard Sale.  The Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th from 8am-2pm (RAIN DATE: Saturday, September 23rd from 8am-2pm).

If you’d like to participate in the Yard Sale, please complete the Yard Sale Registration Form and return it along with $1.00 to the Visitor Center by Wednesday, September 13th.  The $1.00 fee goes toward advertising the Yard Sale in the Gazette and the Frederick News Post.

The Yard Sale tables will be set up in the Springwater Terrace Courtyard and Maps will be available at the Visitor Center showing other areas in Spring Ridge where Yard Sales are taking place.

Self-Closing Hinges

Some condo unit doors have self closing hinges, some don’t. The builder was not consistent regarding this feature. Another Regency Homes blunder! The condo insurance company is strongly recommending that each unit owner investigate their front condo door to make sure that the door closes on its own. If not, you may need to install a self closing hinge.

Home Depot, Lowe’s and May’s Hardware all carry these hinge devices at a nominal fee. Each door may be slightly different so you are better off contacting them directly for your specific hinge.

Should you have any question, please don’t hesitate to contact me @ 301-620-0782.

From The Manager’s Desk

It has become very evident that Spring Ridge Condo has many new residents. For of all, on behalf of the Board of Directors and Management, welcome to your new  community.

Spring Ridge prides itself on good homeowners who take pride in their property. As you know, by signing the covenants for the community, you agree to follow all of the rules of the association. The following items are just a simple reminder of some of the common rules that owners may over look.

  • No storage is allowed on the patios or balconies.
  • No gas or fuel cooking grills. Only electric grills are allowed.
  • If you want to alter anything in your condo unit, you must first get approval by the Board of Directors.
  • All flooring in your unit must be 80% carpeted.
  • Commercial Vehicles are prohibited. Please contact Management should you have any questions about this.
  • Frederick County laws, as well as the condo rules state all pets must be on leash a and under your control at all times.  Also, you must pick up after your pet at all times.
  • These are just some of the main reminders for now. Please stop by the Visitor Center for your copy of the 2006 Directory and the Homeowners Guide.
  • Should you have any concerns or questions, our management team is on site five days a week.
